EXCURSION: Year PP-4 Interm Swimming Lessons

Transport: Bus with seatbelts
Venue: Claremont Pool
Reason for excursion: To support students to develop gross motor skills and vital swimming and water safety skills
Staff attending: Classroom teachers, and specialist teachers/education assistants as appropriate
Staff responsible for first aid: Classroom teachers
Special requirements: All students should follow sun-smart practices; to use sunscreen and wear a rashie. Swimming goggles are permitted (snorkelling goggles are not suitable).
Students are to wear their school uniform to school in the morning as they will be getting changed for swimming at school. All swimming gear (bathers, thongs, goggles and a hooded towel, towel or dressing gown) and clothing should be labelled with the student’s name and carried in a plastic bag, also labelled. Students with long hair are requested to have it tied back.
Bus and Pool entry cost: $43.50. Payment available now through Qkr. Please note payment must be received prior to the commencement of lessons.
As the swimming enrolment form must be given to the instructors, the permission and enrolment form will need to be returned as a hard copy on this occasion. Permission cannot be done through Qkr. Please return forms to your class teacher.
