Enrolling at Kapinara Primary

2027 Kindy Enrolments – Now Open

If your child turns 4 years old on or before 30 June 2027 (born 1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023), they are eligible to enrol in Kindergarten at Kapinara Primary School for 2027.

Please submit your Application for Enrolment by Friday 24 July 2026.

Kindy Application Process

Step 1 – Submit an Application for Enrolment

To begin the enrolment process, please complete the attached Application for Enrolment – Part A and provide copies of the following supporting documents:

• Child’s Birth Certificate
• Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
• Proof of residential address
• Visa documentation and passports (if applicable)
• Family Court orders or parenting plans (if applicable)
• Medical documentation or care plans (if applicable)

Completed applications and supporting documents can be submitted in person at the school reception or via email to kapinara.ps@education.wa.edu.au.

Step 2 – Application Review

Kapinara Primary School is a local intake school, and all applications are presented to the Principal for review and endorsement.

Once applications close, families will be contacted regarding the outcome of their application. Families who are offered a place will receive a Letter of Acceptance via email, outlining the next steps in the enrolment process.

Step 3 – Accepting Your Child’s Kindergarten Place

Following the close of Kindergarten applications, the school will contact families in late July to advise the outcome of their application. Families who are offered a place will receive a Letter of Offer outlining the next steps in the enrolment process, along with the required enrolment forms to complete and return to the school.

Please note that Kindergarten is not a compulsory year of schooling, and places are limited.

Pre-Primary to Year 6 Enrolments

Kapinara Primary School accepts application for enrolment for students entering Pre-Primary to Year 6, subject to availability and confirmation of residential address within the local intake area.

Step 1 – Submit an Application for Enrolment

To apply, please complete the Application for Enrolment form and submit it with the following documents:

• Child’s Birth Certificate
• Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
• Proof of residential address
• Visa documentation and passports (if applicable)
• Family Court orders or parenting plans (if applicable)
• Medical documentation or care plans (if applicable)

Step 3 – Accepting Your Child’s Place (Pre-Primary to Year 6)

Once your application has been reviewed, the school will contact families to advise the outcome. As Kapinara Primary School is a local intake school, priority for enrolment is given to students who reside within the school’s catchment area. Enrolments from outside the local intake area may be considered subject to availability of places in each year level.

Families who are offered a place will receive a Letter of Offer outlining the next steps in the enrolment process, along with the required enrolment forms to complete and return to the school to confirm their child’s enrolment.
