2023 Faction Swimming Carnival

Please refer to the email sent home today for Years 4-6 parents. Every student has been automatically entered in the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke event.

The following action is required.

  1. Process payment/permission via the Qkr app
  2. If your child wishes to participate in an additional 50m event or swap to the 25m events please complete the nomination form and return to the office.
  3. If you would like to be involved as a parent helper, please return the parent helper form to the office.

Choir

Information has been sent out to interested Year 4 students who have requested to join the Kapinara choir this year. The Kapinara choir is currently made up of boys and girls in Years 4-6. If your child is now interested and you have not received the email, or you are new to the school in Years 5&6, please contact admin and we will sent you out the information of how to register. If your child is an existing member please register also as per the email sent home yesterday.


Community

A maths expo – now that’s something different!

The expo is targeted at families in the aim to provide support to parents and students with mathematics learning at home by showcasing interactive resources. It will be a fun, interactive day with lots of opportunity to see a variety of resources that make learning fun, and there are prizes to be won on the day!

YMCC Junior Hockey

Calling all hockey enthusiasts! YMCC Junior Hockey commences next term, and there will be Kapinara teams playing in the league. We will be entering teams from Years 1 to 4. Practice will be on Wednesday afternoons on the top oval, and games are played on Saturday mornings at Perry Lakes. The Kindy and PP “minkey” program is also run at Perry Lakes on a Saturday morning.
