Westpac Chopper Incursion

We are all set for our exciting helicopter incursion tomorrow morning!
All the timings and arrangements will remain as advised last week.

IMPORTANT: We are very keen to be Sunsmart tomorrow as the weather is likely to remain warm. Please make sure your child has applied sunscreen before coming to school, has a hat and a water bottle as we will be outside for the incursion. We will have more sunscreen available for a re-application before Recess, students will be wearing their hats and will be allowed to re-fill their water bottles as needed.

End of Year Concert

With not long to go, the children are sounding great!! We have placed a running sheet for the concert on the event page for your information. Click here!

Canteen Closure

Canteen would like to advise that they will be closed during the last week of school for their deep cleaning. No canteen Wednesday or Thursday of Week 10.

2023 Charges & Voluntary Contributions

The School Board considers and endorses the schedule of Charges and Voluntary Contributions for each year. The costs provided are maximum predicted costs, and in many cases the amounts will be less, particularly with regard to excursions/incursions. If families ever find amounts difficult to pay for whatever reason, please contact the principal for a confidential meeting.

Compulsory costs are either included in the Personal Requirement Lists or the information emailed to you when a cost relates to your child/children. Voluntary Contributions are included on your Personal Requirement Lists or may be paid separately through our Qkr payment system.

You may view the 2023 Charges and Contributions here

For new families, please register through our Qkr payment system once class lists have been sent, this will be the week prior to the students returning. You can view the How to Register information sheets under the Parent Information Tab under FAQs

Messaging Service

MGM Outreach, our text messaging service, has had a few hiccups this past week or so, which is affecting a number of schools. Apologies if you have received duplicate messages on occasion or messages not applicable to your child.

Christine Tonkin MLA Colouring Competition

To celebrate the coming holidays I would like to share with your students (years 1-6) a very special colouring in competition.

Local artist and author Kylie Howarth has contributed a fabulous drawing to capture your students’ imaginations.  I will award prizes of $50 and $30 vouchers on the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre gift shop to each of the year group winners and runners up from the combined primary schools in the Churchlands Electorate.  Prize winners will be announced on 13 December 2022 and the entries will be displayed in the windows of my office in Wembley.

Colouring sheets are available from the school office or you can download a copy here.

Completed drawings will be collected from the school office, please return by Tuesday December 12
