Swim Squad

Thank you to the Year 3-6 parents who completed the EOI for our Term 4 Swim Squad. As anticipated the response was again wonderful. Unfortunately due to the limited capacity of lane space at the Aquatic Centre for this term, we are not able to accommodate all of these students. Positions have been offered to Year 4 and Year 5 students and the remaining vacancies offered to Year 6 students training for the upcoming triathlon. Parents having submitted an EOI have been advised by email. Should any positions become available, parents will be contacted.

Swim Squad will resume in Term One 2023, prior to the swim carnival season with the usual lane capacity. Any queries please see Mrs Burrows or Mrs Carruthers.

Year 6 Camp

Last week all of the Year 6 students attended camp for three days. It was held at Jarrahfall Bush Camp in Dwellingup.  The students had little sleep but so much fun and pushed their own personal limits through activities such as abseiling, raft building and kayaking. However the most enjoyable activity was the night walk!  It was such a pleasure for Ms Burrows, Mr Watson and Miss Lund to see the bonds between all of the Year 6 students develop and a real sense of unity start to show throughout the whole year group!  Many thanks to the parent helpers!

Dupont Avenue Parking

Sadly, our lovely neighbours on Dupont have had to call us. Many families are choosing to park in, and over driveways which at times is blocking them in. It is also discourteous and unsafe at that time to use their driveways as a turnaround area. We have very considerate neighbours and we ask that when parking or dropping off that we are also show them the same consideration. We have contacted the ranger who will try and monitor the pick up and drop off situation during this term.
