Anzac Day

The Year 3 cohort together with our Year 6 Leaders will be conducting Kapinara’s annual ANZAC commemoration service on Friday, 8 April 2022.
Due to COVID restrictions, the service will be streamed and you will receive a link so that you can view it.
We ask all students to bring in a flower or some greenery, (ferns or ivy) to contribute to the memorial around our school flagpole on Friday, 8 APRIL.  If students wish to place their flower(s) and greenery in a recyclable container, they may do so. The Sustainability Leaders will ensure that the containers will be placed in either the ‘Containers for Change’ or ‘Comingled Recycling’ bins at the end of the day.

The Year 3 cohort and their teachers thank the Kapinara community for supporting their commemoration service in this way.

Message from the P&C

Hot Cross Bun Fundraiser

We are excited to have the support of Lawley’s Bakery for a Hot Cross Bun fundraiser- just in time for the Easter school holidays! Choose from traditional, fruit-free or chocolate – why not get one of each and share them with your family and friends! Funds raised will go to the P&C’s general fundraising efforts. Place your order via QKR! and pick up from school on April 7th. Orders close April 5th.

-Could all families please consider paying their voluntary P&C and IT contributions as soon as possible, the money is invaluable for school resources and programs being made available for the students. Thank you. Payment can be done via QKR!.

Masks

Could we please ask parents for their assistance in helping children remember to bring a mask to school. The school has been supplied with some stock, which is intended to replace broken masks and for those that have accidentally left their mask at home. However we have a large number of students that regularly ask for masks when they arrive at school. Your help in this matter would be appreciated.
