General News Week 8

Art

Thanks so much for all that wonderful junk mail….but we have enough now!
I have an artist from Italy arriving next term to work with our children and we need some items!
I am in desperate need of small boxes…medicine boxes, light globes and tissue sized boxes.  Nothing too big please.
Thank you and enjoy your break.

Interschool Cross Country

We have been advised that there will be food and drink vans available for purchases at the cross country event tomorrow. Lo Zucchero Pizza, a coffee van and Boost Juice. Reserves will only need to travel to the event if called upon to replace a competitor. They should come to school fully prepared to attend if required.

Lost Property

Lost property is stored at the top of the stairs leading to the uniform shop. All items will be displayed in the quadrangle each Friday morning and anything not collected on Friday 29/6/18 (last day of term) will be donated to charity. Can parents please check in school bags for hats and jumpers to make sure they have their own children’s belongings.  There are many parents searching for items that are labelled but have gone missing.

Strings Night 26th July

All Kapinara SIM students, choirs and orchestra will be performing at Churchlands Senior High School next term on Thursday July 26th. This is an annual event showcasing the many talents of students. Admission is a gold coin donation. The performance commences at 7.00pm and concludes approximately 9.00pm. SIM teachers will be working with students over the next few weeks to choose their performance piece, so students can practice to a performance level. All students are required to wear the full choir uniform. Year Three beginner violin students are welcome to hire a uniform from the uniform shop, however a tie will still need to be purchased . Black shoes can be borrowed to all students though only limited sizes are available. Please see Mrs Tusak if you have any issues.
