Sim Lessons and Orchestra

Sim lessons for selected students will begin next week (Week 2).  Lesson times will vary from last year. Orchestra (Years 4-6) will start from Week 3 at 7.20am on Tuesdays. Students will be advised when choir will recommence.

Winter Netball

Welcome back, while the netball season is a while away, planning must begin now. The Netball association need team numbers by this Friday(!) to be ready for a Term 2 start.
This year, although not a Kapinara Primary School event, the tradition will continue where Kapinara students will be creating teams from Year 2s – 6 to play in the Saturday morning netball competition. In Primary school we can have mix gender teams and we welcome everyone interested to apply. Male netball is a growing sport with its own league starting from high school into adults.
Games are Friday nights or Saturday’s, usually mornings, and training days are determined by the individual teams and their coach.
There will be sign up sheets at the front office or you can send me a quick email (ASAP) if your child or children are interested in playing. We can then start to create teams and make sure everyone who would like to gets to play.
