Principal’s Message

We are excited to announce the potential launch of a Kapinara Playgroup in partnership with Playgroup WA! This initiative aims to foster a sense of connection and belonging for community members and future students. If we are able to make the required numbers, we will hold our first Kapinara Playgroup Orientation Day on Friday morning in Week 5 (8th November). The playgroup is open to children aged 0 to school age, and we’re looking for families who would like to get involved. To begin with, there will be a limit of 20 families, and parents will need to sign up via email or the Facebook page. If you or someone you know is interested, you can connect or find out more through the Facebook page, Kapinara Primary School Playgroup, or email Denise, our lovely parent coordinator, at kapinaraplaygroup@gmail.com.

This Friday is World Teachers’ Day, a chance to thank the wonderful teachers at our school for their hard work and dedication. Our teachers play an important role in supporting and guiding our students every day, helping them learn and grow. We are grateful for their ongoing commitment and the difference they make in our school community

The Wembley Downs Fair is happening this Saturday, 26th October, and our Rockapella Choir is ready to shine! After weeks of hard work, they’ll be showcasing their talents with a performance from 8:15 to 8:45am. We encourage everyone to come along, cheer them on, and enjoy the fun and festivities of this family-friendly event.

Wishing you all a fabulous week ahead,

Kylie Reeves
Principal

We’ve had some reported head lice cases at the school, and early detection is key to preventing further spread. Please check your child/ren for head lice and provide treatment if required. Treatment should occur for at least 10 days and until all eggs and hatchlings are gone.
