ANZAC Day Ceremony
The Year 3 cohort with Year 6 Leaders will be conducting Kapinara’s annual ANZAC commemoration service on Tuesday, 23 April at 2.00pm.
We ask all students to bring in a flower or some greenery, (ferns or ivy) to contribute to the memorial below our school flagpole on Tuesday 23 April.
If students wish to place their flower(s) and greenery in a recyclable container, they may do so. The Sustainability Leaders will ensure that the containers will be placed in the containers for change blue bin at the end of the day. The Year 3 cohort and their teachers thank the Kapinara community for supporting their commemoration service in this way. Running Club
Running Club will commence for interested Year 3-6 students in Week 3 (1 May) after the Interschool Swimming Carnival and the upcoming Public Holiday.
Wednesday mornings – 7.45am-8.30am
Thursday Afternoons – 3.00pm-3.45pm
Registration not required, interested students to meet on the oval.
Chess Club
We have been unsuccessfully trying to contact the Chess Club Coordinator to confirm if they are able to continue with us this term. We will advise once we have had confirmation.
All families are eligible to apply. Please obtain your child’s student number from their School or NAPLAN reports. Kindy students received their number from Mrs Mee prior to the end of term.
