Westpac Helicopter Visit
How good was that! We were thrilled to have the crew from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter visit us, landing on our top oval! The crew (including ex-student Emile!) told us all about the valuable service, and the students had the opportunity to ask questions and get a close up look at the helicopter. Thank you to Westpac for making it happen, thanks to the crew, especially Emile for visiting!

Art Highlights 2022
A message from the Year 6 Art Leaders, Karen Sabitay and Sarah Seager
It has been a privilege and an awesome time for us to be here at Kapinara Primary School teaching Art in 2022. There have been so many amazing and unique artworks created. We would like to share some of the different projects with you and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2023! Special thanks to the four Year 6 Art Leaders, Sophie H, Ashley C, Amy C & Kayla L for their help throughout the year.

Letter of Thanks
We have received a lovely letter of appreciation from the Ukranian Association of WA. The facilitator has distributed the books and has passed on how grateful the families are having received the books that everyone has so kindly donated. Once again thank you for making the donation drive such a huge success and for the four girls in Year 4 who helped gather and sort the books.
Water Fun Day – PP to Year 6 students
The student councillors would like to inform you that we have planned a Water Fun Day on Friday the 9 December to raise funds for the Marine Life Conservation as well as celebrating the end of the school year. This will involve us setting up a mini waterslide using a black tarp down the hill. We will also have a sprinkler for students who do not want to slide and a dry area for students to play. There will be a timetable with each class getting allocated time.
Students will be required to bring bathers, a rashie, old sneakers, a towel, hat, sunscreen and a gold coin donation. Students will change back into their school uniform when they have finished. The students will need to wear their old sneakers on the slide and grassed area.
Thank you,
Kapinara Student Councillors
St Vinnie’s Christmas Appeal
Year 3H and 3T would like to sincerely thank the Kapinara community for their generosity in sending in donations for our St Vincent’s Christmas appeal.
We have been able to make up 40 gift hampers this year, so thank you and may the spirit of giving make your hearts sing this festive season. Once again, thank for your amazing effort!
