Food for thought
The day you decide to do it is your lucky day. Japanese Proverb.
Kapinara Primary school has as its motto ‘Kindness, Consideration and Service to Others’. They are strong words that, in my opinion, were wisely selected for our school as they really do encapsulate the beliefs and values of our community. Each morning I walk out as I look around at the school grounds, I take in the children playing and I marvel at the joy in their voices, the eagerness in their actions and the creativity in their games. These words not only echo through all the buildings, but they all are so evident in the thoughts, words, and deeds of all in our school. They are more than words now, they are our culture. This was particularly demonstrated and modelled by our students this last week in how the Japanese visitors were welcomed. Having people from another culture and place has been a great life lesson for both our school and our guests. It was evident that there is a deep respect and care from our students.
School Photos
Tomorrow is School Photo Day. Please ensure that all children are wearing the full school uniform not their faction uniform. Thank you for your support.
Positive Behaviour Process
As part of our focus ‘Changing Culture and Supporting People’, we are introducing a unified community approach to positive behaviour learning in our school. I am reaching out to you for your feedback. I will over the coming weeks provide you with key parts of document, please read them and make comments on anything that you believe requires more work.
