Principal’s Message
Dear Parents and Carers
Again, I hope you are keeping well. Thank you for keeping children home when they are unwell, and for letting us know if absences are due to COVID. We appreciate your support in this regard.
Cyber Safety event on Thursday
On Thursday, students in Years 5 and 6 will be hearing from cybersafety and internet awareness expert Paul Litherland, a former member of WA Police and 2022 WA Australian of the Year. There is also an opportunity for parents to attend a 90-minute session on Thursday, starting at 6:30pm in the school library. Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased through Qkr!
Charges and Voluntary Contributions Schedule 2024
This one-page document details the maximum amount that will be requested by the school in the 2024 school year, broken down into year levels. The schedule is provided to support families in planning for the following year and has been endorsed by the School Board. It notes the voluntary contributions that will be requested by the school and by the P & C, and distinguishes between charges (events that all students participate in) and extra cost options (events and purchases that are not part of the core education program, such as PEAC and interschool sport, but that incur a cost for those who choose to participate)
Personal Requirements Lists 2024
These have also been approved by the School Board and are now available. Those who have children entering Year 3, 4 and 5 next year should also read the accompanying letter re the 2024 plan for the use of digital technologies.
The Personal Requirements Lists are produced by Campion, but families can purchase items from any supplier. An advantage of purchasing through Campion is that they also collect voluntary contributions for the school and P & C (for those who prefer to pay for everything at once) and the school benefits from the receipt of a ‘commission’ from Campion.
Give Write
As we approach the end of the school year, there will be children who have some unused stationery items remaining at school. These are ‘personal items’ and as such would normally be returned to families. However, we have previously donated unused stationery items to Give Write, a registered charity that recycles, repackages and regifts spare stationery to children in need, in WA primary schools. Clicking on the following link will enable you to quickly donate. Thank you for considering.

Loose Parts Incursion
We are very much looking forward to this week’s incursion. Please ensure the payment cost for your child/ren to participate has been processed through Qkr. Thank you.
Choir Uniforms
The lovely ladies at the uniform shop would like to request that all choir uniforms that have been hired this year, now be returned to the large box that has been left in the front office. Please place a name on the items and ensure they are returned in a washed and clean condition. Thank you.
