Message from the Principal

Dear Kapinara Primary School Community,

There’s been a lot of excitement at Kapinara Primary School this past week.

Our Kapinara Rockapella Choir brought the house down at last week’s assembly with a fantastic performance of “Choir” by Guy Sebastian. Their energy and talent left the audience thoroughly impressed and eagerly anticipating their upcoming performances at the Wembley Downs Fair and our end-of-year school concert.

Our Pre-Primary students celebrated their 100th day of school last Thursday. The day was filled with activities centered around the number 100, and both staff and students joined in the fun by dressing up. The wonderful photos below capture the brilliant efforts and creativity of our Kapinara Pre-Primary students and staff.

Wishing you a fabulous week ahead,

Kylie Reeves
Principal

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Do you have any plastic bottles, cans or glass bottles lying around the house you no longer need? Don’t throw them into your red or yellow lid bins, and head down to your nearest Containers for Change building instead.

Each time you scan a bottle barcode, you have a choice as to where the money goes. You could save it or donate it to Kapinara Primary School.

To make it simple and easy to donate, Ms Christine Tonkin, MLA and Member for Churchlands, and Mrs Little, our P&C Sustainability Representative, have designed and produced a key chain with our school’s Contains for Change barcode.

How do you get your key card?
If your family recycle containers and would like to support our sustainability efforts, all while raising money to reinvest in our school, you can collect your family’s key chain from: The front office, after each assembly or email the office to make other arrangements.

Thank you!
Student Sustainability Leaders
