The P&C held their AGM and first meeting online in the first few weeks and are really delighted to have so many new parents joining the P&C and adding their voice. Welcome to our new office bearers and members and thank you to those remaining in their positions for 2022.

We are seeking parent admin reps for 3F and 3H; and Years 2, 3 and 5 are needing social reps. Please contact Anke on anke@woodlands.id.au if you can assist.
We are seeking volunteers to form our Grounds Committee- a group of people joining this means people can then take it in turns attending P&C meetings. We are also seeking volunteers to join the Fundraising and Events sub committees- both of these committees have people leading them but would love help with ideas and tasks.
Social Events: Unfortunately with the new directives from the Dept of Education the sundowner was not able to go ahead as previously planned on the 18th Feb.
The school’s preference is to please check with the school before planning social events like icy pole plays or get togethers if they are on school grounds. Thank you for your support with this.
Kiss and Drive: Please ensure we keep traffic moving around school at busy times in kiss and drive- don’t leave your car, keep moving up the line of cars and if you know your kids need some assistance please take some time and wait until you get to the head of line before your kids get out. It becomes very dangerous for kids crossing the roads if these rules aren’t followed and we get a back up in traffic.
Please treat Dupont Ave as a one way street with traffic flowing from Catesby up to Oban Rd- please refrain from parking on the east side of Dupont Rd as it becomes dangerous for moving cars and children if cars park on both sides of the road. All these rules are aiming to keep our streets as safe as possible for all our children so thank you for your understanding on this.

Uniform shop is currently online orders only, and bank transfer payment is preferred.

Kapinara Canteen: Open for recess and lunch on Wednesdays and Thursdays every week. Currently we are operating with a reduced menu and no volunteers whilst the Dept of Ed direct that volunteers are not to assist in canteens. When we are able to we will welcome volunteers back and have an extended menu. We have lots of shortages in the shops which is impacting on what we can offer for recess and lunch (including messy monkeys, icy poles, ham etc). Please note it is preorders only currently including icy poles. No cash please.
