Principal’s Message

Our Year 6 students returned from camp last week, having enjoyed an unforgettable experience. They participated in a range of exciting outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, and zip-lining, while also learning about the ecology of the beautiful Jarrah Forest. I had the pleasure of staying overnight and sharing in their adventure, and I couldn’t have been prouder of their exemplary behaviour throughout the camp.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Year 6 teachers, Mrs. Lund and Mr. Hodgson, for their exceptional organisation, and to our Deputy, Mrs. Niebieszczanski, who also stayed for two nights.  Our staff generously give up time with their own families to ensure our students create cherished lifelong memories, and we are truly grateful for their commitment.

We would also like to extend our thanks to our parent helpers, Rob Pradera, Cam Smith, and Leanne Fong, for their invaluable assistance in making this camp possible. Your support is greatly appreciated, particularly the much needed coffee run for adults in the morning.

On another note, we are excited to announce the installation of a brand-new projector and screen in our undercover area. This much-anticipated addition provides a clear, high-quality display that will greatly benefit our students and wider school community. A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C, whose tireless efforts in fundraising have made this project possible. We look forward to showcasing the new projector at our upcoming whole school assembly!

Wishing you all a fabulous week ahead,

Kylie Reeves
Principal
