Monday 26th February 2018, a glorious summer’s day at Woodman Point Recreation Camp and Year 6s were busy jumping off tall buildings, climbing up wobbly poles and solving complicated logistical problems! Yes, just another ordinary day at camp. The fun didn’t end there and there were two more days of action packed activities including kayaking, raft building, first aid, orienteering and bike riding. Students were learning how to use their character strengths such as creativity and teamwork to face challenges. It was very rewarding and enlightening to see the students in a different environment showing their different skills and strengths. Many thanks to our parent helpers who gave up their time to support us and help with the activities, especially Chris Higgs who stayed for the whole camp. We were all grateful for the long weekend to recover our strength!
