Sport News Week 2

Running Club Term 2

Week 1 saw the return of running club for its 4th year. I have been so impressed with the number of children and parents who have attended so far. The philosophy of the running club has always been to “Have a Go”. It doesn’t matter if you arrive late, complete one lap or 10. It is a great way to start the day and to improve your fitness and challenge yourself.
If you are keen to try for the 100km club, please see target laps required for each year level.

PP/Yr1/Yr2  60 laps=100km
Yr3/Yr4        80 laps=100km
Yr5/Yr6        100 laps=100km

To cover the cost of medals $10 paid to front office or myself would be greatly appreciated if you are hoping to aim for the 100km.

HBF Run for a Reason – Sunday, 27th May 2018.

Not long to go now!
Registrations are open for this event. A Kapinara PS team has been registered, with no password so if you or your family and friends would like to register, please search for Kapinara PS and register as part of our greater school community. It would be wonderful to see a lot of our community in the City for this event.

Coles Sporting Vouchers

Thank you to all families who shopped at Coles during the Coles Sporting Voucher campaign and deposited their dockets in the boxes provided. We had a terrific response. I look forward to the new sporting equipment arriving and being used by our students.
