SPORT NEWS

There have been a number of teams registered already for the Inflatable Soccer competition and any further teams need to be submitted to Louise Smith by the end of term to Louise.Smith@education.wa.edu.au advising of players, which parent will be the manager and a team name. Yr 1-3 will play on Wednesdays. Yr 4-6 will play on Tuesdays.
A friendly reminder to basketball team managers to please put registration fees for the Term 4 Summer Basketball Competition into the Sports Drawer in the front office by the end of this term. If there are problems with that, individuals may put their $15 registration fee into the sports drawer separately.

PATCH NEWS

A special thanks to the Eaton, Kinal, Woodland and Capper families along with their many helpers for their hard work in The Patch. We have a wonderful garden for all the school to enjoy! There are a vast number of plants currently growing and a number of new plants recently sown. If you would like to support The Patch you may:

  1. shop the produce by picking your own food and placing a donation in a jar found in the white cupboard found inside the Pre-Primary entrance to the garden
  2. contribute scraps to the worm farm (but please do not add citrus, onion, garlic, chilli, dairy, meat, bones, fish, oil)
  3. water the plants
  4. support our Harvest Days (next is Week 2 Friday 19th October after school)
  5. help at the gardening mornings every second Friday after school drop off, starting Week 1.

Book Fair

Only 2 days left to grab some great books and/or gifts for the fast approaching holidays and Christmas.  In the Library from 0815-0915 and 1445-1545 Wednesday and Thursday, EFT available.
