Orchestra Windup

There will be no rehearsal for the orchestra tomorrow, instead there will be a 7.45am windup, with music and games. Students do not need to bring their instruments to orchestra, only if they have a lesson scheduled as normal tomorrow. No orchestra next week.

Choir Windup

Choir will windup with a ‘Choir’s Got Talent!’ event this Thursday 9 December. Children will be sharing their various talents with the rest of their peers, 7.30-8.30am. This is a choir only event, optional and just for fun. The audience will be choir students only. No choir next week.

P&C NEWS – Free Icy Poles & Ice cream tomorrow!

To celebrate the end of year, the last week of canteen opening for this school year and it being a very hot day, we’d like to offer everyone at school – staff as well as students! – a free ice cream or icy pole on Wednesday lunch time. No need to order via QuickCliq – just line up at the canteen.

For those kids who will be coming back from or going to swimming lessons during lunch break, never fear, we’ve got you covered – their teachers are aware and will make sure they can get to the canteen.

For anyone with any allergy concerns, both the icy poles and ice creams offered through the canteen are nut-free. The icy poles are Berri Quelch Fruit Sticks (ingredients https://bit.ly/3rIBjwK), the ice cream is Peter’s Light & Creamy (https://bit.ly/3DsB0Ip), and the cones are Coles own-brand (https://bit.ly/3DwHvtC) – ice cream can also be served in a plastic cup on request.

Huge thanks to our canteen manager Anke, and the fact that we have a full set of 4x volunteers in canteen tomorrow, for making this happen!!

Recycling Programs

Thanks very much to everyone for their contributions to the soft plastics recycling scheme and Containers for Change. Both these programs are continuing in school. RedCycle collects soft plastics at major supermarkets and our school gets the money from Containers for Change if you give the school number: C10288919

Together we can make a difference.
