Faction Swimming Carnival
Our Y4-6 Swimming Carnival will be held on next Friday, March 12th at HBF Stadium. The permission note will be available soon.
We do not have times for individual events, however please find below the program (each event may have more than one heat). We anticipate Event 1 will begin at 9.15am.
Accounts
Term One accounts are now due. Please send payment through for any outstanding items. Reminder notices will be sent next week. Please contact the office if you are unsure of your account balances and we will be happy to help with any queries.
Arts & Craft Volunteers Needed???????
Dear Kapinara Community
I’m reaching out to see if any parents/grandparents/family members who enjoy ‘arts and crafts’ would be available to volunteer their time to help create some bits and pieces throughout the year for one or more performing arts events.
Poppies for ANZAC Day Ceremony – we are hoping to get some ideas on how to make some big, red poppies for children to hold up during the performance of the song. The poppies will be stored for future use so they will need to be fairly durable (felt or red foam?) Here is a video for inspiration – the children hold up poppies towards the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_1RFUEbpmw. The poppies would be needed by Week 1 of Term2.
